Arrival and early labor. I arrive when active labor begins — we will talk through the timing together in advance based on your preferences and how things are progressing. The early hours have their own quiet beauty. The monitors, the light shifting through those city-facing windows, your partner close beside you. I document this time gently and without intrusion.

Active labor. This is where I move with you — around the room, through the waves of intensity, through the moments of rest in between. My goal is always to be present without being felt. You will not be thinking about me, and that is exactly right.

Delivery. The moment your baby arrives. Every birth I have photographed has its own unrepeatable version of this moment — the sound, the reach, the first breath, the look that crosses your face. I am there for all of it.

The first hours. Skin to skin. The first feed. Your baby weighed and measured and swaddled for the first time. The people you love meeting the person you just brought into the world. The room growing quieter and clamer after the birth as you finally get to stare at your new little one.
